I first stepped foot in Oklahoma on a college visit to the University of Tulsa in 2004. In the 21 years since, Oklahoma has become HOME for me. It’s where I trusted Christ, earned my Mechanical Engineering degree from TU, met and married my beautiful wife Rebekah, had 3 amazing kids, started my own business, and have faithfully served my community.
As the father of those 3 kids who will be Oklahoma born-and-raised, I recognize that now is a pivotal time to strengthen the foundations of our state. We must act to secure our freedoms and ensure prosperity for the next generation. In the face of numerous societal institutions that are increasingly captured by radical, left-wing ideologies, I will champion conservative values, policies, and vision in the Capitol. I firmly believe that those principles are the best path to human flourishing. Oklahoma is poised to be the next great American success story, and I am honored to play a small part in making that a reality!
249 years ago, our Founding Fathers entrusted us with a brilliant system of self-government. They laid the foundations for America to become the greatest country the world has ever seen. We truly stand on the shoulders of giants. But that system of self-government must be vigilantly maintained. Ordinary citizens must step up to the challenge and responsibility of public office.
I am honored by the trust that the people of District 67 have placed in me to represent you at the Capitol, and I would greatly appreciate your support as I seek to continue representing YOU in the Capitol for another term!

GOVERN WISELY
A relevant aspect of my background is that I have been very academically successful:
-Earned a Perfect Score of 36 on the ACT
-National Merit Scholar
-Earned a 3.95 GPA in Mechanical Engineering, (Minor in Physics) from the University of Tulsa.
But I am keenly aware that intelligence is not the same thing as wisdom. Just look at the current state of our nation’s Ivy League universities if you have any doubts about that!
I promise to use the abilities I have been entrusted with to understand the complex issues that affect Oklahomans. I will apply conservative principles to pursue real solutions, not just parrot talking points.
STUDY CONSTANTLY
State Representatives are tasked with voting on legislation that spans an incredibly diverse range of issues: from economic policy to energy policy, road repairs to regulatory reform, public safety to public education, and everything in between.
My varied professional experiences as an Engineer/Project Manager for a Fortune 500 energy company, a College Pastor, an Investor in public markets, and an Entrepreneur in the educational space—along with my roles as Husband, Father, and Community Leader—have uniquely equipped me to understand the complexities and interconnectedness of Oklahoma’s economy and society.
I promise to do the hard work necessary to stay up-to-date and informed about the issues that affect us all.
LIVE HONORABLY
The office of Oklahoma State Representative is a weighty responsibility and deserves to be undertaken with the utmost seriousness and respect. I know that my actions and words will reflect not just on myself, my family, my church, and my God, but on the constituents in my District as well.
I promise to live in such a way that will make you proud to have me as your Representative.
SPEAK HONESTLY
There are many temptations to lie in the political world: To say something you don’t really believe to try to get someone to vote for you. To hold back from speaking the necessary truth about a controversial topic because you know the media is going to twist your words and call you nasty names.
I promise to follow the Biblical exhortation to “speak the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15). I will not be brash or mean-spirited, but I will also not shy away from saying what needs to be said.
ACT COURAGEOUSLY
At the end of the day, talk is cheap. Speaking the truth is not sufficient by itself. True words need to be followed up with courageous actions.
